Research Assistant in Innovation Management at a Leading Swiss Firm

Location: Flexible
Starting Date: Between March and April 2024


The Chair of Strategic Management and Innovation (SMI) at ETH Zurich's Department of Management, Technology, and Economics invites applications for a motivated research assistant. This position is central to a collaborative research initiative with a top Swiss manufacturing firm, renowned for its global leadership in industrial minerals and chemical distribution. The project aims to explore and enhance the firm's already impressive commitment to pioneering sustainable and effective innovation practices across its global operations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect data through meeting observations and conducting interviews.
  • Analyze data to provide actionable insights for enhancing the company's innovation practices.

Qualifications:

  • Fluent in German and English, willing to learn the technical vocabulary related to the company partner's focus. 
  • Strong analytical skills and interest in qualitative data analysis.
  • Good communicative and interpersonal skills.
