Hello and welcome to my official webpage! I am a senior researcher and teacher at the Chair of Strategic Management and Innovation.

I am curious about any emerging phenomena that intersect innovation and organization. When forced to specify, I usually say that my research focuses on the organizational and motivational implications of open innovation. Currently I am working on distributed problem solving, proactive problem diagnosis and the micro-foundations of knowledge integration. My empirical research spans multiple industries, but I feel most at home when dealing with information technology, software, chemical, and professional services. If you find these topics as cool as I do, please share your thoughts with me! If you are a student, contemplating to do a PhD, please drop me an email and tell me about your interests. If you are visiting Zurich and wish to share your ideas, why not give a seminar at our department?
