Welcome to my official page. I research and teach at MTEC and reference some of our work below. My research interests center around the following topics.

Current research questions and curiosities. Feel free to suggest thesis topics along these lines. We expect your theoretical curiosity coupled with a drive to test empirically what's going on out there. I'd be happy to help and tutor.

• How can social software be used strategically and successfully in companies?
• What are the conditions for free revealing of knowledge by companies?
• How does the use of new technologies alter workflows and knowledge creation processes?
• What are strategies of user innovation to access new markets?
• Collaborative innovation relies on the mutual exchange of knowledge across organizational boundaries, between firms, users, associations, communities and so on. What is a model of collaborative innovation that helps firms to innovate effectively?
• How can organizations be designed to motivate diverse practitioners given that the material context of work impacts motivation?
• How can companies collaborate effectively with communities of users and consumers outside?
